We engaged with the three pillars of civic engagement -- service, representation, and advocacy -- in several ways. Our service was through one of our main projects, our donation drive, where we were able to make 257 care packages for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. It was also shown when we held our voter registration drive, and we were able to have the Mayor of Carson and Ms. Michelle Fowle from the Women's March organization speak to students at our school on the significance of having a voice in the community through voting and what we can do to shape the future of our society. Our representation was our active involvement in several social justice movements, some including When We All Vote and First We Register, Then We Vote for our voter registration drive and No More as part of our campaign to advocate against domestic violence. Our advocacy was demonstrated all throughout the main focus of our project, which was advocating against domestic violence. Not only did we hold several events to spread awareness to students and other outside of our school, but the members of our group and 231 people outside our group took the pledge with us to say no more to domestic violence and sexual assault on https://nomore.org/take-action/pledge-driving-change-original/thanks/ .
